The Rising Woman: Expansion, Ascension & the Power of Becoming in Community

My Journey of Ascension ♥

There are experiences that are beautiful while you are living them.

And then there are experiences that reveal something about who you are becoming.

The Queens & Crowns Sunset Soirée was both.

On the surface, it was an extraordinary evening aboard a beautiful 72-foot yacht surrounded by accomplished, ambitious, visionary women. We ate. We laughed. We danced. We talked about money, relationships, careers, businesses, motherhood, travel, purpose, health, freedom, and the dreams we haven't stopped believing are possible.

We even got tattoos. Because apparently that's what Queens do when you put us on a yacht together. 😂👑

But underneath everything happening that evening was something much more sacred:

Women giving other women permission to rise.

Expansion Doesn't Always Feel Powerful

We often imagine expansion as this triumphant moment where we confidently step into the next version of ourselves.

Sometimes it is.

But sometimes expansion is fragile.

Sometimes you're doing the thing your future self would do while your current self is still terrified.

Sometimes expansion is wearing the dress.

Posting the picture.

Starting the business.

Saying the thing.

Setting the boundary.

Naming the desire.

Allowing yourself to be seen.

This weekend, I found myself confronting another layer of my own relationship with self-expression and my body.

I wore something I probably would not have allowed myself to wear in another season of my life. From the outside, I may have looked incredibly confident. Inside, I was navigating the vulnerability of allowing myself to be seen differently.

And somewhere in processing that experience, I realized something:

Maybe the rejection I have feared isn't actually coming from other people.

Maybe there are places where I have been rejecting myself.

That realization changed the question.

Instead of asking, Will they accept me?

I'm learning to ask:

Will I accept me?

Ascension Requires Self-Acceptance

There comes a point in becoming where another accomplishment isn't going to take you where you're trying to go.

Another title won't do it.

Another degree won't do it.

Another promotion won't do it.

Another business milestone won't do it.

Especially for high-achieving women, our identities can become deeply connected to what we do.

We know how to achieve.

Execute.

Lead.

Provide.

Fix.

Carry.

Produce.

But ascension eventually asks us to move beyond doing and explore the sacredness of being.

Who am I when I am not performing?

Who am I when nobody needs anything from me?

Who am I when I stop editing myself according to what makes everyone else comfortable?

What do I desire?

What makes me feel alive?

What wants to be expressed through me?

And perhaps most importantly:

What parts of myself have I been unwilling to fully receive?

That is where expansion gets interesting.

Because becoming isn't always about creating a completely different woman.

Sometimes becoming is finally giving the woman who has been there all along permission to emerge.

The Rising Woman

This is why the Rising Woman has become such a meaningful symbol for me in this season.

I have spent decades developing the part of myself that knows how to make things happen.

Ambition.

Leadership.

Strategy.

Achievement.

Execution.

Resilience.

Power.

I honor that woman deeply.

She got me here.

But the woman rising now isn't interested in abandoning her power.

She's interested in integrating it.

She is learning that power and softness can coexist.

Ambition and pleasure can coexist.

Leadership and receptivity can coexist.

Strategy and intuition can coexist.

Wealth and spirituality can coexist.

Achievement and rest can coexist.

The Rising Woman isn't becoming less powerful.

She's becoming whole.

And I believe there are many women standing in this exact place.

You've mastered survival.

You've mastered achievement.

You've mastered being the woman everyone can depend on.

And now something inside you is asking:

But who could I become if I stopped surviving my life and started fully inhabiting it?

Sisterhood Can Become an Unfair Advantage

Perhaps the greatest revelation from the Sunset Soirée wasn't about me at all.

It was about us.

There is something extraordinarily powerful about being surrounded by women who aren't intimidated by your expansion.

Women who don't need you to shrink so they can feel comfortable.

Women who can hear your wildest dream and respond:

Why not?

Start the foundation.

Build the business.

Travel the world with your daughter.

Go deep-sea diving.

Turn the hobby into something bigger.

Ask for more money.

Wear the dress.

Take the trip.

Change your life.

Rise.

There were women on that yacht navigating completely different seasons of life, yet every woman brought something valuable into the space.

Wisdom.

Experience.

Perspective.

Encouragement.

Truth.

Possibility.

That is the power of intentional community.

Sometimes another woman can see the version of you that you are still learning how to recognize.

And when enough women gather who are committed to their own becoming, something remarkable happens:

We become an unfair advantage for one another.

Not because anyone is coming to save us.

But because we no longer have to expand in isolation.

There Is No Going Back

I left the Sunset Soirée different.

Not because everything in my life suddenly changed overnight.

But because I changed.

There are cycles I can see more clearly now.

There are versions of myself I can honor without returning to.

There are beliefs I no longer need.

There are expressions of myself I am ready to explore.

And there are desires I am no longer interested in pretending I don't have.

That is ascension.

Not becoming better than anyone else.

Not becoming some perfected version of yourself.

But continually expanding your capacity to live in greater alignment with who you know you are becoming.

And doing it alongside women courageous enough to do the same.

👑 Your Crown Check

Where are you still rejecting the woman you are becoming?

Where are you shrinking, editing, hiding, or waiting for permission?

And what could become possible if you surrounded yourself with women who didn't merely tolerate your expansion—but expected you to rise?

The Rising Woman is already within you.

Maybe this season isn't asking you to create her.

Maybe it's asking you to finally stop rejecting her.

Rise, Queen. There is no going back.
